Paint and Sip is essentially a step by step group painting experience led by professional instructors – we call them Paint and Sip Mentors – and is usually accompanied by food and/or drinks and is an experience that offers something unique and creative to your venue.

How it works


Step 1:

You provide the venue and designated space for the pop-up

Step 2:

You choose one, multiple or reoccurring dates, then we’ll schedule one of our amazingly talented Paint and Sip Mentors and off we go.

Step 3:

You promote the event/s through your website and social media, and we will do the same.  Customers pay for their Paint and Sip experience upfront through our website.

Step 4:

Your Paint and Sip Mentor will bring everything needed for the Paint and Sip experience and each person walks away with their own creative masterpiece.

What we need from you


A semi-private space that can comfortably seat guests

A dedicated server to increase food and drink sales (this is preferred however up to you)

Min 4 hours to set up, run, and clean up the event

Event promotion on your website and social media channel

Prices for Becoming a popup Venue


There is no charge to the venue when you host a public Paint and Sip. The collaboration is we offer the Paint and Sip experience and bring everything to you, and you offer the venue, food and/or drinks.

Customers are charged per person (pp) for a Paint and Sip experience dependent upon the time required for the allocated or chosen canvas.

Prices for customers start at $50.00pp. The venue offers food and/or drinks. This can be off the menu or as packages. We can help you to work out what is best for your venue.

FAQs for becoming a popup venue

How long does a paint and sip experience go for?

Paint and Sip experiences start at 1.5hrs plus. If you are booked into an experience you can check the duration of your session by logging into your account - or for private and other events check with your event organiser. For all experiences participants should arrive no later than 15 min prior to the event start time to allow for seating and preparation time. Painting starts promptly at the scheduled start time.

How is the painting chosen?

You can choose from our extensive catalogue of pre-designed canvases or Paint and Sip Studios can alternate a range of paintings dependant upon your requirements and number of events etc.

How do I become a pop-up venue?

Fill out our begin planning form; Paint and Sip Studios will then come and sit with you at the venue to be hosted and discuss the space, layout and set up, what’s involved, host options for food and/or beverages, marketing, and mutually agreeable dates for the event/s.
You will then receive a host agreement based on the above and away we go.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

To reschedule or cancel any Paint and Sip bookings please submit a request through the ‘move or cancel my booking’ request form.

How is a Paint and Sip pop-up marketed & paid for?

Paint and Sip Studios advertises a pop-up in several ways (not limited to);

  • Facebook paid promotions to the surrounding area of the pop-up
  • Instagram
  • Community networks
  • Website, etc

The host advertises through their own mediums which generally range from Facebook, websites and/or another web presence as well as on-site.

Customers pay a per person price at the time of booking through Paint and Sip Studios website. Paint and Sip Studios promptly pays the host the agreed price per person within 5 working days upon completion of all customer bookings.

Do you need a special occasion to do a venue pop-up?

No, pop-ups are the occasion itself.  However, we can tailor the event to any special occasion you might have, Christmas parties, Valentine's day, Fundraising events and more.  We also do themed paint and sips where the painting is tailored to the occasion.
